How do I connect my ATS to ChatGPT or Claude?
There are two routes. If your ATS publishes its own MCP server, add it as a custom connector. If it does not, or you also want applicants interviewed and scored from chat, connect the ATS to RightMatch and add the RightMatch connector. RightMatch has 27 native ATS integrations.
Route 1: your ATS's own MCP server
A growing number of ATSs publish one. Greenhouse and Ashby launched official servers in open beta in 2026, and Lever was not on the list of ATSs with their own server (Yardstick's ATS MCP list, checked November 2026). These give your assistant read and, depending on the vendor, write access to the ATS's own data: jobs, applications, statuses. Check your vendor's docs for what it can do.
Route 2: RightMatch as the connector

- In ChatGPT: In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings, then Apps. Under Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode. Click Create app, paste https://api.rightmatch.app/mcp, and choose OAuth. Sign in to RightMatch and approve access. In a chat, pick Developer mode from the plus menu and select RightMatch.
