ChatGPT Free and Go cannot add custom connectors. Plus and Pro need Developer mode turned on. On Business, only admins can add them. Set it up on the web, not in the mobile app.

  1. 1Ask your Microsoft 365 admin to open the Microsoft 365 admin center, then Copilot, then Connectors.
  2. 2On the Gallery tab, add a custom connector, choose Connect to MCP server, and paste the server URL.
  3. 3Sign in when prompted, then start a new Copilot chat.

The free Copilot app cannot add your own MCP server. This works through Microsoft 365 Copilot and needs an admin.

  1. 1On gemini.google.com, open Settings, then Connected Apps.
  2. 2Under Custom apps, click "Add a custom app", paste the server URL, and click Next.
  3. 3Approve the sign-in in your browser, then start a new chat.

Custom apps are added on the web, not in the mobile app. On Gemini Enterprise, a team admin adds it under Manage team, then Connected apps, then Add MCP Server.

When RightMatch adds or updates tools, start a new chat so your AI picks them up.

Subject: Can you add the RightMatch connector to Claude?

Hi,

Could you add RightMatch as a custom connector in our Claude workspace? On Team and Enterprise only an owner can add one. After that I can connect it myself.

Connector URL: https://api.rightmatch.app/mcp

RightMatch connects your hiring pipeline to Claude: rank a job's applicants, read AI interview results, and build and send interviews, all from chat. It signs in with each person's own RightMatch account, so there are no API keys to share, and each person approves what Claude can access.

To add it: Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector, and paste the URL above.

Setup details: https://rightmatch.app/mcp#claude

Thanks!

  1. 1

    Step 1: Create a job

Here's my job description: [paste it]. Create the job posting from it.

Score and enrich these resumes against the job so I can see who fits best.

  4. 4

    Step 4: Create the interview

Edit the questions: make them more conversational, drop question 3, and add one about handling an upset customer.

  5. 5

    Step 5: Send the interview

Send the interview to [your email] first so I can take it like a candidate would.

Send the interview to [candidate name] at [email] and [phone number] so they get an email and a text.

  6. 6

    Step 6: Review results
